Bio HOW TO CREATE A LIVEJOURNAL ENTRY
Choose an obscure title for your entry. A song quote works really well.
Before proceeding with your entry you must get one thing clear. If you're writing an entry about your day, and won't be including any sensitive subjects, then you can go ahead and use the real names of people. If you're writing an entry about a sensitive subject - such as a love interest, naughty things you've done, or if you plain just want to keep people guessing - use pronouns. For example, "so I saw you today, and I had a great time . . . tehehe."
Second, once in a while (every third entry is a good number) you have to say something along the lines of "I fucking hate everything. I don't want to talk to anyone. Don't IM me." Then you sit on AIM all day with an away message up that says the same thing. This is totally a cry for help and you Want people to IM you. Once you get a couple sympathy IMs you can take down your away message and post again in your livejournal how much you love your friends. It's easy to be indirect, because talking to your friends up front about your own problems is so 1997.
Fill out as many quizzes as humanly possible. It doesnt matter if you keep getting the same questions over and over again - keep filling them out. Everybody knows you favorite food, but they will keep reading it every time you post it. If you can get one of those online survey things that tells you what kind of something-or-other you are, with an image, EVEN BETTER. Post anything!
Finally, the most important part about livejournal is posting subtle messages about other people, so they can post subtle messages about you in theirs! If this begins a fight, post back and forth in each others livejournals. If you can post anonymously - even better! Ambiguity, people - it's a weapon. It's also your best friend (after livejournal, naturally.)
Always remember, livejournal is a substitute for human interaction. Nobody really posts their deepest and darkest thoughts. It's simply a place to shoot the shit, and to let people know that you in fact do have a life, and people do care about you.
